For a long time, I thought "absolutely not."
Still, I was told, by the self-publishing gurus that I needed a website and a blog. But I didn't make one. Not because I'm stubborn and don't want to succeed, but frankly because I don't read that may writer's blogs. I wanted to focus more upon writing my books, rather than building my brand. A good book, I figured, will sell itself.
Many, many books later, I've discovered that is both true and not true. On one hand, I've built a small and loyal following of readers. On the other hand, big time success and supporting myself with my work alone has eluded me. But that's true of most, if not all writers, a dirty little secret self-help books on manifesting success for writers like to ignore.
Still, given the instability of so many platforms nowadays, I wanted to create a homey little corner of the Internet just for myself and my readers to hang out in, and to gently keep people posted about my latest works.
Welcome and stay tuned!
Hello! So great that you have a website, I can direct everyone I recommend your books to here now. I’m a big fan of your books, starting with finding fortunes fool on my weekly scroll through kindle unlimited horse books (that quickly progressed to reading the next book in the series and then waiting patiently for whatever magic you produced next)
